With a commitment to bring the latest in skill development to their students, they devote countless hours to the research and study of the latest professional teaching.


233 HJohn Alexander brings over 25 years of experience to teaching goaltenders at the Minor Hockey, Junior A & University level. 

In addition to his position as president of Alexander Goaltending, he works as a Private Consultant
providing technical evaluations of goaltenders playing at all levels to coaches, recruiters & scouts.
He also works as advisor & mentor to several elite goaltenders.




David development camp 2017 IIDavid Alexander is a graduate of Moncton Minor Hockey system, winning Provincial
and Atlantic championships and later moving on to a successful career in the OPJJHL
where he played for 3 seasons. His previous experiences include 4 years Goaltending
Coach with the MMAAA Fredericton Canadiens where he played a significant role in
the development of Jake Allen (NHL St. Louis Blues).

Shortly after, David moved on to a position with the NCAA University of Maine Black
Bears where he worked as goaltending coach.  After 4 years with the Bears, he was 
hired by the NHL Tampa Bay Lightning as goaltending/video coach for their AHL affiliate, Syracuse Crunch.  Following a successful 4-year career with Syracuse, ending with the Crunch competing for the AHL Championship Calder Cup, David was offered a position as goaltending coach with the NHL St. Louis Blues, a position which he presently holds. 





Joel began coaching goaltenders with Moncton Minor Hockey teams starting in 2004 & joined Alexander Goaltending on a part time basis in December 2006. Beginning in 2007 Joel started working with local Pee Wee & Bantam AAA teams moving up to coach with the Major Midget AAA team in the 2012 - 13 season. Shortly after leaving that position, he was hired by the QMJHL Screaming Eagles as goaltending coach with additional responsibilities for video, a position he held until this season.  Joel acts the on-ice lead instructor for several of Alexander Goaltending's programs




Kyle MacDonald

Kyle is a Rothesay, NB native presently goaltending coach with the University of New Brunswick REDS men’s hockey team & the UNB women’s team.  He coached at the Minor Hockey & Junior A level prior to joining UNB.  Kyle has experience with the HNB U16M program & is also advisor to Hockey New Brunswick Program of Excellence and delivers various on-ice clinics throughout the province on their behalf.  Kyle has been a integral part of Alexander Goaltending's staff for over 5 years.





Riverview native, Travis Fullerton is a long time student & coach with Alexander Goaltending.  Travis' associaton with Alexander Goaltending began when he played Bantam & Midget AAA.  At that time his goaltending coach was the owner of Alexander Goaltending.  Travis has played at the Major Junior, Junior A, University and Professional level, winning back to back CIS National Championships with UNB.  Travis presently plays professionally in Scotland 



Raymond began working with Alexander Goaltending in 2014 and has coached at their various in-season clinics and summer camps since then. He played with the local Moncton MMAAA team where his coach was the owner of Alexander Goaltending.  He also spent some time in the QMJHL.  Presently, he is goaltending coach with the LJR High School Patriots & an area Bantam Minor team. He also works with Shediac Minor Hockey Association conducting clinics & evaluation duties
