SUMMER PROGRAMS

Junior Prospects Training Camp, July 22 - 26, 2018

Hi folks

Welcome to our Junior Prospects Training Camp information page.  As you look below, you will find most of the information you will need to help you make an informed decision about what we offer, which is a unique experience to work with an NHL goaltending coach and a team of professional, dedicated coaches and players.  Many of the students who come to this camp are repeats and you can be sure, even if you are new to our programs, you will find many of your peers here.

Similar to our Development/Prospects camp, this camp is heavily weighted to our on-ice curriculum.  However, it does include daily "goaltender specific" off ice training delivered by a Professional person who will cover off important elements such as injury prevention, pre-season and in-season training & body maintainence.  As well, our classroom/video sessions will show you the most recent NHL trends in training, development & techniques, plus some tips on the mental aspects of the game.  All participants will be on the ice for 2 intense sessions each day. The main group is sub-divided into smaller groups each with their own coach and shooter(s).  Shooters will be Midget or High School level players

As part of our research & development, we are constantly analyzing game video at the professional level and otherwise.  We also regularly solicit feedback from our clients for technical issues they are encountering during the season.  Based on our findings, we will, generally re-write upwards of 50 - 75% of our camp on-ice curriculum each year

Our coaching staff are drawn mainly from our previous clientel, all of whom are presently coaching and/or playing.  The on ice team is lead by our Director of Goaltending Development and goaltending coach with the St. Louis Blues, David Alexander and supported by myself.  In addition to overseeing and leading all off/on ice activities, both David & I are available for one to one discussion/questions related to your training, development and/or future goals

A nutrituous lunch is avalable at the Centre restaurant.  Generally the cost will range between $ 65 - 69 and can be paid at the beginning of camp. (note: because we pay special attention to the nutritional aspect of our students during their time with us, we do not offer any drinks or products except those recommended by our nutritional consultant)

Periodically, through the week, we have professional goaltenders join us and take part in the on ice practical and technical sessions

Best Regards
John Alexander, President

Our Director of Goaltending Development, and current goaltending coach with the St. Louis Blues, David Alexander will round out the staff and I am on hand and oversee all on/off ice sessions throughout the entire 5 days.

During the week, students may choose a nutritious lunch from the Centre restaurant.  Normally the cost for the week will range from $ 65 to $ 69 for all 5 days and this can be purchased at the start of camp. (note: because we pay special attention to the nutritional aspect of our students during their time with us, we do not offer any drinks or products except those recommended by our nutritional consultant)
